Gambling fans have plenty of options when it comes to not just enjoying their favorite casino games but also taking advantage of promotions and deals for gambling getaways that won’t break their budgets.

  • Atlantic City: Atlantic City isn’t exactly the most glamorous gambling destination these days with many casinos having seen better days but a quick weekend jaunt is cheaper than it’s ever been with some casinos offerig rooms for $20/night or less. The Atlantic Club Hotel and Casino (formerly the Hilton) is offering $19 hotel rooms on select nights for players club members with several other casinos offering rooms for $40/night or less in a desperate attempt to drum up more business as gambling revenues continue to slide in AC.
  • Las Vegas: Convention traffic and overall revenues have stabliized in Las Vegas but the building boom in the early to mid 2000s has left an over-supply of hotel rooms on the market, which means visitors still pay substantially less than they did in the past even for stays at higher-end hotels and casinos such as the Palazzo and Wynn.
  • Biloxi: Biloxi has grown into a major gambling destination with eight casinos currently operating there and offering attractive package deals in a bid to lure gamblers break to an area still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2006.
  • Tunica: Like Biloxi, Tunica has quietly grown into one of the larger gambling areas in the US, with cheap room deals and easy access to sightseeing in Memphis offering plenty of gambling options as well as am alternative to the standard gambling trip to Vegas or AC.
  • New Orleans: New Orleans is another affordable and fun US destination with several casinos to choose from, including Harrah’s and Boomtown Casino. Still recovering from Hurricane Katrina, trips to New Orleans are much more affordable than in the past and offer a chance to see the sights in one of the US’ most unique and distinctive cities.
